Storyboardgraphy

چکیده
Throughout the history of filmmaking, storyboarding has been used to pre-visualise films and help with production. Here I propose a new film visualisation tool complement storyboarding, which call ‘Storyboardgraphy’ define as ‘film pre- post-visualization showing shot sizes lengths along timeline’. A storyboardgraphic consists two axes, X-axis representing scene timeline, Y-axis size shots, characters depicted recognisable curves. Storyboardgraphy is an excellent way visualising a) sizes/lengths in simple graphic; b) pacing (changes shots over timeline); c) dynamic (the order timeline), are not easily perceived on conventional storyboard. Therefore storyboardgraphy huge interest, only for pre-visualisation production, but also post-visualisation when editing, teaching film-making studying film.
